Keeping it Natural

Keeping it Natural

Did you know that natural fiber carpets are made from renewable resources, and less likely irritate the skin or cause allergic reactions? In fact it is more environmentally sustainable and biodegradable then any other carpet materials. Wool, for example, is technically made from a sheep’s back and since shearing is essential when caring for a sheep, fresh wool carpet is available every year. Wool is most known for its durability , it can withstand heavy foot traffic while maintaining it’s appearance due to wool’s natural color retention.

SISAL

Sisal is one of the most durable and natural fibers used in carpet. In fact, sisal carpet can be an excellent choice for for people with asthma, because natural plant products like sisal does not harbor any dust mites or moths. This means that our little friends cant live in your carpet or even eat it!!

Due to it’s durability sisal is a no brainer for high traffic areas and, large living spaces. Sisal will bring natural beauty to your living room. bedroom and even the hallway. Sisal is vulnerable to moisture so I would not recommend putting your sisal rug outside but definitely in the mud room.

You can’t go wrong with a Jute rug in your mud room or entry way. Yes, Jute is highly durable and versatile but it is most known for being eco-friendly and recyclable.
